PASSERIFORMES: Estrildidae
Neochmia temporalis
A tiny Red-browed Finch sits groggily on a bench after flying with a thud into a window pane, stunning itself and dropping to the ground.
It was gently placed on the bench where, after sitting quietly for fifteen minutes, it recovered sufficiently to spread its wings and take to the air, hopefully having suffered no permanent ill-effects for its misadventure.
